Hi,
this system has mainboard HT-DB120/THA25.
Display working and also i can switch modes, but there
is no audio.
I noticed that resistor R100 is heating up.
I found wiring in attach, but there is diferences.
1. In this wiring 1st pin of resistor is attached to diode bridge and
second pin is attached to Collector of PQ5. On PCB is not the same.
2. Resistor R100 is labaled as 10ohm, but it is 22ohm. Even colour
code (red, red, black, gold) show 22 ohm.
3. Emitter of PQ5 must go to PIC4 (7812), but this also is not true.

Hello! I'm trying to resuscitate a Macbook that the local tech gave up on. I have the board view and schematic and have the main board out of the case.

Of the 4 usb-c ports, 3 cycle at 5V - they all go up to about 1.5A, then seem to switch off, back to 5V 0A, up to 1.5A, and off again. The cycle lasts a few seconds - maybe 3s.

The 4th port doesn't cycle and draws ~0.5A at 5V consistently. It seems it's the port linked to U3100 - it's on that side of the board and is the port closest to the battery and the CD3215C00 chips.

I've got an ASUS laptop (Asus X409DL Rev 2.0) that had a little liquid spill on it however the majority was on the daughter board for the I/O stuff which is connected over a ribbon cable which I have disconnected for now. Bought from a liquidator and nonworking on Ebay, and has a admin password set. Dell generated a code that didn't work, then said there is nothing else they could do. I've tried desoldering and flashing a bios, but wouldn't boot afterwards(beyond my limits). I reflashed my backup and it works again. I wrote a password cracker in powershell, but never got a hit. Not sure what else I can do.

my laptop has a weird power-on issue.
Once the laptop has been powered on, it can restart/ wake just fine on battery power or Adapter, ONLY If i have not closed the LCD.
If i am running on battery and have closed the LCD (even momentarily). it will not power-on/ wake-up on battery power no matter the battery percentage.

but once i open the LCD and connect it to the adapter (even momentarily) it will wake up gain and I wont experience any issues till i close the LCD.

i do not know where to look for repair.

If I'm understanding correctly, I can fix this by re-flashing the bios. Except I need a copy of the original bios because the updates don't have complete information.

Maybe I need to download my existing image and copy information (something something DMI) from there to the newest BIOS update downloaded from MSI?

When I run a turntable into it and then try to record it. The volume is too loud and distorting. In the red. Mainly 12” Singles. I haven’t tried a CD into it yet. Hey folks, I have this iPad Pro 12,9" 4Gen A2232 here with no charging issue. The main fault was a crossed pins / faulty USB charging port due a bad cable.

So I started to replace this parts:

- replaced usb-c port -> no result
- replaced battery -> no result
- replaced usb-c chip CD3217B12A -> no result
- replaced 343S00326 -> no result
- replaced 343S00327 -> no result
- replaced 343S00328 -> no result

I have no more ideas for this issue. There is no short on the whole board, and the iPad is working fine...

- Netflix stopped working so i tried to do factory reset from the TV menu.
